Two year olds who watch more than 1 hour a day of TV/screens:
- are more likely to be obese,
- have poorer motor skills,
- have more incidences of illness,
- visit the Dr more,
- show more signs of hyperactivity at age 4.5yrs.
I don’t share this to guilt or shame parents. I share it because it’s RELEVANT, CURRENT, and up to date evidence based information (Jan 2019, MSD).
You CAN make huge change in your little people’s lives. I encourage you and cheer you on in doing so!
